Their first response to any request is no, we don't do that. I tried to take cash out of my own account and they said no. I knew it was a large amount so I was ok to order and wait a few days and they said no. I wanted to order foreign currency and they said no, they don't do that and I have to go to a currency exchange place even though the scotiabank website states this service is available at any branch. I have been banking with this branch for nearly 20 years. The customer service and inconsistency in “policy” atrocious! Donato, whom we dealt with today was degrading, condescending, and continuously implied that we could be potential criminals due to depositing weekly cheques from the same employer for the last 9 years? Suddenly, we are a risk? But, he recommended to apply for a line of credit? Make it, make sense. I have never been spoken too in such a way. Truly appalled and disappointed.
Very bad customer service at this location.
