Horrendous customer service by Rasid. He insisted that “an account cannot be closed on a Saturday, come back Monday at 10”. I explained that I work and cannot come any day other than Saturday, and additionally that I had called and confirmed that the account could be closed. This somehow offended Rasid. After an excessive back and forth he admitted he could close the account (he just didn’t want to). Tellers are good, but line moves so slow takes forever. Hire more people at counters.
Went in to deposit money through ATM. Wanted to quickly print off a financial document I needed using their printer in their lobby area and was told no. I am a long time customer of Scotiabank with various products and investments. I will be closing these products and looking for a new lender come mortgage renewal time. Terrible customer service. I can see why this location has a less than 2 star rating. Disappointing. Luke
