If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I do regret opening an investment account with this bank and branch. I dealt with Christina Whynot and her and the branch manager Sarah Giles have been the worst to deal with. They do not have any customer service and no idea how to be sympathetic with people. Annoying that you cannot go to a bank and get teller service.
ABMs constantly reject or eat bills, freeze up or glitch, and can even spew hundreds of transaction receipts onto the floor. Teller hours are a joke, and only unhelpful and pretentious “advisors” stand around denying basic services after 3 pm. Sometimes the branch is even randomly closed for “staff parties”. Amazing service at Scotiabank! Olga was incredibly helpful and kind. She helped me open my bank account and also assisted my mom with changing her SIM card to a normal bank card. She explained everything clearly, was very patient, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Truly lovely customer service - thank you so much, Olga!
