I cannot recommend Scotia Law. When I purchased my home, I was informed about a property tax credit that the previous owner had already paid. I included that amount at closing, as advised. However, I recently learned that when someone buys a property, the credit balance from the previous owner does not transfer to the new owner. I have overpaid and still have not received that amount back. I am really disappointed that Scotia Law, which should have known this crucial information, were unaware of it.

I've used Scotia Law for two real estate transactions and I can highly recommend this firm to anybody looking to do the same. Communication from the Scotia team is excellent, their research thorough, and they are a pleasure to work with.
