The staff is great in person. Dr. Wong did my meniscus surgery and the office followed up via phone call and appointment. The reason for the 3 stars is, it’s very difficult to contact someone via phone on the medical question line and no one calls back. I have documents that need to be filled out for being out for disability, and twice this has happened where my documents are delayed several weeks. I had a very disappointing experience with this office today. When I scheduled an appointment, the receptionist gave me wrong location -Anaheim (and I confirmed twice with her) while I always being seen in FV. When I contacted FV location for help, the receptionist kept blaming the mistake on me instead of taking responsibility to see what happen and not even say sorry 🙃 I understand that scheduling mistakes can happen, but placing the blame on the patient is unacceptable and very unprofessional. Called for an appointment after a knee injury. They got me an appointment the next morning with Dr. Wong which was great. I came early for my appointment so we could get x-rays and fill out necessary paperwork. Waiting was like being in line for a ride at Disneyland. They completely overbook their appointments. 40 minutes after my appointment time i asked why I hadn't been seen yet and they notified me that I should be next. Every call you make to this place requires answering about 10-15 questions with a robot, and a 10 minute hold. When they pick up you will get a sales pitch. Strongly suggest not even calling. I found an orthopedic who answered the phone right away, and booked a next day appointment. You guys have gotten WAY to carried away with AI.
I came here to see Dr. Bryce Johnson for a second opinion since I was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy. I mostly wanted to get a second opinion on what to do because my first neurosurgeon, whom I saw, just said to go to physical therapy for now, and that's it. Apparently other people have scheduling issues but at least for me, when I called the number on the website, I'm usually able to get someone to take my call for appointments only after a little bit and they're pretty responsive even through text messages.
