Don't waste your time and money going here!! My experience with SCOS was horrible. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly, which was a positive, however, when I arrived, getting to the reception area was suffocating. The waiting room was completely full and after I was checked in, I had to wait in the lobby of the bldg for over 1-1/2 hours, for a scheduled appointment. Dr Patel I highly recommend. He is working on me and redid a recent surgery I just had done by Newport Orth Inst. After the other surgeons finished my arm looked more like a flipper on a seal and I could no longer work or take care of myself. Recently Patel did a left elbow replacement. It is beautiful. It’s more than an elbow replacement, it’s work of art. He literally listens and customized my arm with all kinds of touches that says “I am listening”. The main reason for the low rating is their abuse of technology. Their automated check in process is primarily a way to get the appointment pre-paid. Their automated check-in process was meant to make life easier for their billing department, not the patient.

Do NOT go here. They treat patients like worthless dirt. Hard to get appt. Cancelled twice last minute. Almost impossible to reach by tele. Tele appt convoluted--spent whole day trying to get through to someone in charge. Convoluted tele appt did not work. No supervisor available. Exhausted. Making me sick !
