Dr. Stephen Scoper of VEC is excellent at putting you at ease. All exams, and questions were answered thoroughly. The patients well-being is put first. My eye concerns seem to be personalized. I am waiting for a redo of an eye surgery from another surgical group, that did not work well for me. I have all the confidences that VEC is the right place for eye surgical care. My initial visit with Dr. Scoper was wonderful. His staff is kind, considerate and knowledgeable, as well as very friendly and helpful. Treated with the utmost respect. Very pleasant experience. My surgery appointment went very well. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was an awesome experience with the surgery staff. At the conclusion of surgery the staff explained what I should and should not do after surgery. Could not have been better. I definitely would recommend Va Eye Center to anyone need cataract surgery.
Dr. Scoper exuded confidence without in any way appearing cocky. I felt at ease discussing my cataract surgery with him and feel very fortunate to have drawn him as my surgeon. Virginia Eye Consultants has quite a few of them. Instead of dreading this procedure, after talking with Dr. Scoper, I am actually looking forward to it and experiencing better vision in the near future.

Dr Scoper did my cataract surgery a couple of years ago. He was very professional and caring telling me what was happening throughout the surgery. Recently I developed a film on the new lens and once again Dr Scoper did the surgery. I highly recommend his services
