Very easy to get and to operate No problems very helpful
We recently went on a 13 Day Celebrity Cruise out of Sydney Australia. Prior to the cruise my wife fell and broke her leg. She was in a cast and mobility was a big issue. My travel agent contacted Scoot Around and arranged for a scooter for the Cruise Ship. When we arrived at the Cruise Ship Cabin the Scooter was there! Very Impressive! She used the scooter for 13 days. It worked Great. We left the Scooter in the Cabin when we left the ship. How much easier could it get. I rented a walker for an upcoming cruise that has been cancelled. Called to cancel it and they told me I could get it cancelled but not refunded. Even though it's 100.00 I'm calling the BBB and a lawyer. Tried to get refunded a week before cruise was scheduled. Very rude customer service rep, very terrible cancellation policy. Says on the website it would be delivered to your room, this is not true you have to pick it up before you check in. Called me less than a week before our cruise to tell me the item I booked wasn't available. The only replacement they could offer me was a manual wheelchair, and wouldn't provide any additional discount for the trouble this is causing. Really unhappy but not much I can do; with only a few business days left before we leave there's not time to try and find someone else. We reserved and paid for a scooter for our Cruise to the Greek Islands and received a confirmation. THE DAY BEFORE THE CRUISE SCOOTAROUND CALLED US UP WHEN WE WERE IN ATHENS AND CANCELS US. THEY SAID THE DID NOT HAVE SCOOTERS ON THIS SHIP! We did see other scootaround scooters on Board. Be CAREFUL as they cancel you at the last minute and then your vacation is ruined!!!! Buy a scooter from Amazon!!
