If you’re thinking of booking a room at Scoots in Daytona… run. RUN FAST. Unless sweating through your clothes in a musty motel room is your idea of a vacation. First off, the AC? Doesn’t even turn on until after you check in—how convenient, right? Ours never cooled down after hours of suffering in a hotbox. When we asked the front desk to turn it down (because surprise! Pretty shit but okay for the price
I mean for $75. It was good. Big bed and a microwave and TV only complaint was how hot and stuffy it was in the rooms and the chair outside of our room was broken and there was bugs. This place would be five stars if they would just fix it up and get a bug exterminator The couple was very nice and straight to the point. Good options for DoorDash around the area as well and easy to find for DoorDashers
