The Scleroderma Research Foundation ( SRF ) was established in 1987 by patient turned activist Sharon Monsky, when research on this potentially life threatening illness was nearly nonexistent. I am happy that research is trying to figure this out for those that continue this battle. My hope is in the near future a cure will be found. My sister just died from Scleroderma and my prayers for those who have it continue.
Is there any closer to fort Worth Texas I have scleroderma
My mom has systemic sclerosis and raynauds...she has had this for 18 years she shows little signs of the disease...nerve pain mostly and the the blood not going to the fingers and loss off finger prints...she also has another imune disease and she controls that one with meds but it almost seems like the two diseases counter each other and not her..she looks healthy acts healthy and she always positive...no physical changes at all...18 years and still going strong...more research is needed.
