Scissor Over Comb is a great local gem! The salon has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. They were incredibly patient and kind with my son, who usually hates getting haircuts! It was nice they had a car chair he could sit in while he got his haircut. The staff are friendly, the space is clean, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone, especially families with young kids!

Extremely disappointed with the experience. The staff was rude, disrespectful, and displayed racist behavior. The person who handled my child’s haircut clearly had no idea how to work with kids and treated us in a very insensitive manner. It was upsetting to witness such conduct. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I absolutely love it there, Michelle always cuts my sons hair does a fantastic job with him even tho he doesn’t keep his head still for her, will always go back :)

I have been going to Becki Butts for over 15 years. She is probably the best colourist I have ever been to - it always looks natural and is so close to my original colour it’s amazing. She and Mel also looked after my mom while she was alive and they treated her like a Queen. I am always super happy with my haircuts and styles. I will continue to have Becki do my hair as long as she is doing hair.

Worst service ever. Extremely disappointed. Unprofessional and rude staff with no understanding of how to treat children. The staff seemed irritated the entire time and the haircut looked like it was done blindfolded as you see in the picture how uneven front hair looks. Strongly do not recommend. No kid friendly at all. I am soo angry and deeply regret taking my child to such a cheap and unprofessional place. It was a mistake I won't make again.
