Annual eye exams for many years with recommendations for glasses only as needed. Just had cataract surgery and the information given at the preop was very helpful to explain procedure and resolve fears. Called in evening of surgery to check how I was doing. Office staff also very friendly and helpful . Highly reccomend.
As a new Floridian I’m in the process of obtaining doctors. During my appointment this morning, the office staff member told me I was required to have diagnostic testing done prior to being seen by the doctor. I explained that I had recently been to the eye doctor in my home town and had the same diagnostic test. I inquired if Medicare would cover todays testing, as I didn’t want any unexpected surprises later. I was assured by two staff members it would be “fully paid”. Dr. Schwartz is an incredible physician with a wonderful bedside manner during appointments as well as surgeries. He is generous with his time and never rushes through appointments. I recommend him at the highest level.
I actually have never met a doctor as thorough, kind,patient as Dr Schwartz. His staff of nurses and assistants have the exact same caring nature . He has treated me for a corneal issue and has taken great care with me .

I have seen Dr. Schwartz 4 times over a period of 8 years. (all for routine examinations), I usually wait an over an hr. to be seen by Dr. Schwartz. His staff does a preliminary evaluation, prior to seeing the Dr. Those staff are very good. My major objection is that after I have been evaluated by his staff, my experience has been that it takes me another hour before I am seen by the Dr. My time with him has not exceeded 10 minutes. I don't understand how he gets consistently so far behind

rarely do you find a dr. who shows exceptional care and follow-up with his patients..in my case i had a situation occur outside of the eye scenario and dr. schwartz was there to help me and assist me with my issues..he is kind, genuine, and very caring...my eyes are much better and my spirits are high because of his coaching and treatment approach...i would not hesitate recommending him to anyone needing his expertise..and the staff..they are just plain wonderful and caring as well...
He is a rarity in todays Medical Profession! He really cares about treating the eye(s) problems his patients bring to him, not selling lens, etc.
