The people are very nice, but they can't manage time or appointments to save their lives. My eye exam took 2 hours while waiting for the Dr. I went in to have my eye looked at another time and they were 40 minutes late in getting to me & said that they only had 2 drs working. I just went today and was told that they're really backup with several appointments in front of me even though I was on time for my appointment "sorry, we only have 2 drs on Thursdays". I saw Dr Schwartz 2 years ago ( 2022). Was very impressed with his Scottsdale office. I had the free 2 hour in-depth eye screening because I have been wearing 2.5 reading glasses for many years now. Went to see if there is anything that I can do to fix the problem. Hoping that insurance would pay for some I waited another 2 years to see Dr Schwartz again in October 2024. Not sure where to start had cataract surgery in 2023 still can’t see after numerous appointments finally left went to Desert Eye specialist and found out there’s movement in my lenses and the lenses Doctor Birdsong put in were incorrect so after almost a year I’m back to wearing glasses to fix the issue not going thru more surgery very disappointed spent a lot of money with a terrible result!
After being told by my eye doctor in Jan that my cataracts in both eyes have gotten worse which was why my new glasses were not helping but that it wasn’t bad enough for me to qualify for cataract surgery. Wrong. I was referred by a friend to go see Schwartz Laser Eye Center. I saw Dr Birdsong and was told I definitely qualify and discussed my options.
