Dr. Schwartz seems to be a good diagnostician, but she is more concerned with teaching the students that follow her around and is terrrible at following up on requests. For example, I tried getting an Rx filled for two weeks. I made repeated phone calls to the office and only after having the pharmacy call, did I get the RX. Then, my mother (94 yrs) began falling and needed a walker. I tried for almost 5 weeks to get an order from the doctor and finally gave up and bought the walker myself.
I spent a lot of time waiting to get results of lab work and radiology test. Both were normal and should be followed with a phone call, not another appointment. Waste of time and resources.
The doctor is good, but the staff is rude, lacks courtesy and tact to treat with patients both in person and by phone. Please, understand that we are not placing a visit to the doctor for fun and enjoy a good meal, this is about our health! It's a shame.
Excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable, compassionate and through. I love Dr Schwartz.
I was referred to Dr. Schwartz by a friend. This doctor is nothing short of brilliant. I now have two other family members that see her and are very pleased with her treatment. She is always training medical students, which makes me feel good about our future physicians. Dr Schwartz also has treats you if you need to be admitted to the hospital, which makes me feels even more comfortable in those situations. Only rare issues with staff, which Dr. Schwartz has resolved even after hours.
Stay away from this MD. She is more focused on teaching nursing students in her office, than the patient at hand. She does not follow up, forces the patient to come back into the office for results (even if normal), unlike any other follow up we have ever seen.
I thankfully found Dr. Schwartz. She is an excellent doctor and an acute diagnostician. When she talks, I listen. I am in good hands.
I absolutely love Dr. Schwartz. My friend recommended her to me a little over a year ago and I am so glad I went to see her. She is very caring and compassionate and she really knows her stuff. She is a teaching doctor so she always has students in the office as well, all the students I have interacted with have been really great also. I love Dr. Schwartz so much I have recommended her to many friends and family and they now go to her and love her as well.
Dr. Schwartz is by far the most thorough and competent primary care doc I have ever seen. She truly listens to you and never rushes through a visit. More doctors should be like her.
