A fantastic doctor, caring, kind, and a most wonderful member of the medical profession -- it would be great if all were like her. First rate in every way!!!
Front desk staff berated and belittled a family for not understanding her questions about an insurance card. The son was trying to translate for the mom. Then the desk woman pretended not to know what kind of insurance it was (medicaid). Very rude. As for Dr. Schwartz, she made a very quick diagnosis of my recurring eye infection and rattled off some instructions so quickly that I had to follow her down the hall to ask some follow up questions. office staff was not friendly - cold demeanor. Wait time before the appt itself and during the tests was longer the actual check-up which probably took all of 10 minutes. They make you wait for some time between different tests. Also Dr Schwartz was entirely too flip and casual
She was my father and my mothers' doctor before me and I have had her since I needed glasses in 4th grade, she has always been helpful and I am now a senior in College, she is always open to questions and has always been patient and willing to go through all other options when asked.
I have terrible eyesight and have had eye trauma in the past. I have also had inaccurate prescriptions written by optometrists, so I wanted to see a real MD to have my vision checked. Dr. Schwartz was fantastic. She took her time, gave me a thorough test and did not try to push LASIK on me like every other eye doctor I had met. I've seen her 3 times and have turned my whole family on to her. Highly recommended!!
