Took my mother to er on a monday 9am because she couldn't walk or move. Had test done. Saw pt/ot who told us nothing. I went home at 7pm. They kept mom in er all night! I came back at 8:30am. Moms bp severely high and not given anything to eat(being a diabetic). They tried to give her a med for bp i told her shes not allowed to have anymore due to edema. Rude, slow, mainly stand around talking to each other vs actually working. Save yourself the hassle and go to giessinger in Orwigsburg that's a fantastic hospital with compitant staff who actually care about your well being, your time as well as their own and won't forget they have patients in rooms. Seriously, swerve this hospital especially in the event of an emergency like a stroke, heart attack, car accident, or idk say being hit by a car. They'll tick tick Stahl until it's nearly to late. ER Dept. Not recently, but extremely disappointed, did nothing for my grandson with an intestinal blockage which they DID find on the CT SCAN & IV fluids waited for transport for direct admit to GMC Danville. I brought him there @ approx. 5:50pm waited & waited all night while he had pain vomiting finally approx. 9AM I asked where are they ?
