I called and made an appointment and then the day of they tell me i dont have an appointment when i tried to tell them i had infactcalled and made one the secretary became agitated and was acting extremely unprofessional hainging up on a patent who is only trying to figure out what was going on because I had made an appointment extremely unprofessional secretary
I visited Dr. Halverson twice for increased pain in my right hand, wrist, and arm, and I had high expectations as he was referred to me by my primary care physician. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Throughout the appointment, I felt unheard and dismissed. Worst experience of my life in this or any hospital. Brenda and the surgeon. Condescending patronizing and just nasty mean. Like “we’re smart and you’re just a dumb patient”. The surgeon in fact acted that way when I first met him (and the friend who was with me agrees) and I really don’t even want to see him again. Examples: Brenda (nurse). put the gizmo in for my iv. During my initial visit, I expressed how much pain I was having in my left hand/wrist and asked for an injection in hopes that I’d get some relief (injured area 2 months prior and had been using all conservative treatments that I could). I was understanding, although I really was hoping to get something to help with the pain. He ordered an MRI which was scheduled for 2 weeks from the appointment (first available).
