Got my broken hand repaired by Dr Halverson yesterday. The numbing has wore off and I'm in 0 pain and have almost full mobility of my hand already BEFORE therapy. I can't thank Dr. Halverson enough for his excellent work. 1 year update: hand is in great shape still! I do have the occasional ache, but with my line of work I'd probably be having those anyway. I called and made an appointment and then the day of they tell me i dont have an appointment when i tried to tell them i had infactcalled and made one the secretary became agitated and was acting extremely unprofessional hainging up on a patent who is only trying to figure out what was going on because I had made an appointment extremely unprofessional secretary
I visited Dr. Halverson twice for increased pain in my right hand, wrist, and arm, and I had high expectations as he was referred to me by my primary care physician. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Throughout the appointment, I felt unheard and dismissed. The visit seemed rushed, and it appeared Dr. Halverson had already determined a diagnosis with minimal discussion about my symptoms or concerns. Worst experience of my life in this or any hospital. Brenda and the surgeon. Condescending patronizing and just nasty mean. Like “we’re smart and you’re just a dumb patient”. The surgeon in fact acted that way when I first met him (and the friend who was with me agrees) and I really don’t even want to see him again. Examples: Brenda (nurse). put the gizmo in for my iv. After like 15-20 minutes she asked if I had any pain. I said yes where you put the iv in. She says I shouldn’t have any pain there like I was making it up!! W... read more
