I would never see this doctor again. Perhaps, he is a lyme diease expert, but he is rude, arrogant, and did not treat my daughter and I in a friendly or kind way. I waited one hour and 10 minutes past my appointment time to be seen and he never apologized. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend him!
Lyme-free for over three years. Ignore the falty tests,you know your body,if you feel something is not right KEEP SEARCHING til you find a doc who treats you! Your future well-being depends on your persistence til you find that one doctor! For me that was Dr Schuchman who believed me when even my (ex) husband and own mother wouldn't (both to their shame, and his credit.) 1&1/2 yrs of antibiotics (ins. wouldnt cover IV) and I'm healthy as a horse! Worth every min of the 3 hour drive round trip!?
Dr Schuchman is a wonderful doctor. My biggest issue is with a particular staff member (I don't remember her name) that answers the phone rudely and has no compassion at all. Most people going to see Dr. Schuchman are in lots of pain and are experiencing brain fog and may not be able to respond quickly to questions which is why this person should not be dealing with patients when she has no compassion what so ever. Please take her off the phone and front desk. I dread going there because of her.
