I really hope I can change this negative review to positive review soon. Though many people suggest that I take legal actions or file complaint with Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, I still want to believe Schroeder is trustworthy and reliable. Schroeder built a house that has structural issue, which is still at the early stage and can be fixed if appropriate actions are taken with timely manner. We built a home with Schroeder in 2013 and my experience is exactly the opposite of other negative reviewers. We love our home and it is well built. Schroder is one of the only builders in the area that still uses steel i-beam support, most others use glulam beams and while that may be adequate to support a structure, steel, in my book is better. Our house has had minimal shift, wall cracking. They also sheath their buildings with Dow high R value styrofoam, it provides excellent insulation, soundproofing and energy savings.... read more
