GOLDEN MILE ANIMAL CLINIC IS WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE BEST IN AND AROUND THIS AREA OF WESTERN PA. THEY TREAT NOT ONLY YOUR PET, BUT YOU VERY WELL. I HAVE HAD MY ANIMAL THERE 2 TIMES. AND I WOULD GIVE THEM A 5 STAR RATING EACH TIME.
Golden Mile is stupendous! Dr. Schowalter has been our vet through various cats and our 3 white boxers, Bubbles I, II and III and I couldn't ask for a better facility. His Office Manager, Courtney, McCoy is a very valuable member of his staff and took the time to explain to me my options with my kitty Ms. Bigglesworth and never made me feel like a bad kitty Mom. They killed our dog! Terrible place!!!!! We brought our dog down to have a mole removed from his lower eye lid. My mother brought down the dog in the morning and picked him up late in the afternoon. The dog could not walk and the staff told her that he was still groggy from the medicine that they gave him. So my poor mom had to carry a 60lb dog to the car (ya think that they would help...nope) She brought the dog home and he died a short time later. great care i would rate this animals hospital a five star, i have had nothing but positive experience with dr schowalter and his staff, they treat my animals as if it were there own. they are very professional but yet, down to earth, i am in my own dog business and always refer my clients to golden mile animal clinic. thank you again staff for taking care of my babies and always being there when we need you. god bless you all!!!
educated, caring dr's and staff I'm very comfortable and confident in leaving my pets care to thier staff. They dr's as well as all the techs are very educated in what they do. If i have a question they can either answer me on the phone when i call or they return my call the same day with an answer! Its obvious they are caring people. As for the man with the lab with the torn ACL, my dog also had a torn ACL and the cost wasnt nowhere near 2-3,000 it wasnt even 1,000!

THANK YOU FOR SAVING PUMPKIN I was desperately seeking a vet who could perform a P U surgery on my 2 year old cat. He blocked 2 times and I spent almost $1,500 at Northern Pike Vet unblocking him with hospital stays. The doctor a Northern Pike recommended a specialist in Shaler who would probably charge 3,000 for the surgery and 125.00 just for the consultation. I AM FOREVER GREATFUL He is the greatest vet! He is caring and compassionate and very knowledgeble. He has cared for all my kids (pets). And I have had quite a few. I have been with him for over 20 years. I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you for being a great vet. GRATEFUL!
Wonderful I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Schowalter. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. When my 13 year old dog had be put to sleep, they were very caring and even sent us a sympathy card. They took care of my poor little 6 mo old puppy who had developed pnuemonia from kennel cough from poor pratices at the pet store. They are great!
