Enjoyed the atmosphere and having a great view of the ocean. Ordered the halibut fish and chips. The halibut was excellent. It was flakey and moist. Hot and the portions were generous. The French fries were just ok. They were Luke warm and not really much to write home about. Waitress was attentive and quick. We enjoyed our time there. I will go back.
As always great food and great service. Never a disappointment!
Beer is cold, food it good and the view is priceless.

All the food was great, and the hostess was very accommodating in getting us seated in our requested spot, honoring our reservation. Seated outside on the patio with a view of the beach was special. Rustic and warm atmosphere. Definitely will be back.
Stopped in on our way up the coast..we were starving so we decided not to wait 40 mins for patio seating and sat indoors. The waiter was wonderful, and had us sat and served in minutes. I had the Ahi dinner and my husband the shrimp and chips....DELICIOUS!! we went and had a drink upstrs in the bar and watched the sun set...everyone was very accommodating, a Great experience.
When in Cayucos, some places shut down on Tuesday-Wednesday. It is a tourist town. Schooners stays open. We had Dinner there 3 of 4 nights, while staying in Cayucos. The service is top-notch.. "Request Issac, for your server". He, and all the staff there, is awesome! The Seafood is fresh, and the cocktails are good too! We were very happy here.. Great job!
