The Schooner II has been our second home for more than 10 years. The newly upgraded rooms are very nice. My kids have grown up here and look forward to our yearly visit. The location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to Broadway on the Beach as well as the shopping and entertainment of downtown Myrtle Beach.
We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the staff we met were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.
The hotel was clean, and the customer service was outstanding. The location is convenient and definitely a highlight. Additionally, while the room was a bit dated, it was functional and showed great potential. With some updates and a more comprehensive approach to guest amenities, this undoubtedly will be an excellent place to stay.
A dated property. The attempt to upgrade was visible, however the kitchen layout could be better. The staff were outstanding on all shifts.
I want to say this from the jump. I simply loved every staff member at this resort, and they made the stay well worth it. The rooms were a little dated and the twins beds were more comfortable than the queen bed, but other than that it was a good place to stay with a great ocean view!!!
