Ever since Dr Navarro left the level of care we get just doesn't compare. We left our last pediatrician because for 10 years all I ever heard was “give her honey and Zarbees. And come back if she gets worse”. Well guess what, we always end up coming back when it’s worse and today was like a mirror image flashback of that. Dr Luthera had no patience for a young child who had been diagnosed with anxiety and was only seen once a year. The nurse let us know she needed a hemoglobin test and my daughter went into full panic mode. When the nurse left I was able to talk her down to the point she was asking questions about the "finger prick" (she thought they were going to use a knife to prick her finger). The phone lines are never answered. You are always leaving a message for a sick kid in hopes for a return phone call. Sometimes that doesn't even happen within the same day. The only time I got someone is when I accidentally hit the option for a PHYSICAL or yearly wellness visit. Doesn't that seem a little.... Backwards? As it's not a potential emergency? This office is the picture of total administrative incompetence and lacks any type patient care. I could go on for days about almost every experience we've had here with our 3 children but will comment only on the latest experience, today, actually. Our 4yo daughter was sick, had an appointment for 145 and vomited on herself on the way to the office.
