"All day breakfast" unless they're 30 orders behind it seems. We waited 20 minutes for a table and was told we couldn't order any breakfast for an hour at the counter. Wait staff slow and seemed irritated when asked to clear a table (I'm sure it's because it's clearly understaffed). Not coming again - especially not when my parents are in town.
I passed through Bloomington today. Went out of my way to the downtown location to buy some bread, a cup of coffee and a muffin or scone. I put my money in the meter and walked to the front of the store and it was...empty. I follow this page and never saw one word about the downtown location closing. I am so disappointed.

Had the brownie and coffee. The brownie was so hard I couldn't eat it with the plastic fork they gave me. The place felt dirty. Garbage under my table. Table was very sticky. The employees we very nice however!
WOW - Scholars Inn Bakehouse is now Black Canyon Bakehouse! What a change. New menu - new beers - serving pizza and new menu items. Not to mention the new look of the servers and finally super service. If you haven't been by for awhile now's the time to visit.
