The hotel is clean and convenient to shops and restaurants. The area seemed safe. Main issue was the noise. The hotel is across from two frat houses - lots of screaming college girls until well after midnight. We stayed on a rainy Wednesday night in March. It was so loud. I can’t imagine what it’s like in the warmer weather. I purposely requested a higher floor so it would not be so loud, but the window in the bedroom would not close all the way. Great location...walkable to campus locations and desirable food options. Nice decor.
Terrible service
Parking is a disaster. Google Maps sends you to the wrong garage, and if the weather’s bad you end up dragging bags a block and a half. That’s a dealbreaker for business travel. Noise was also rough. I got woken up around 1am by drunk people yelling in the alley. I was on the 5th floor and it still came right through—soundproofing needs work.
