I am a patient of Dr Schnitzler and have always been appreciative of his care. But, my review concerns his staff involving a current medical situation I find myself in. I was on a Caribbean cruise last week. I have COPD from many years of smoking (finally quit over a year ago). During the first 2 days of the cruise I was feeling great. The large amount of walking you perform on these new, huge ships did not bother me, but on day 3 of 7 things changed. While walking, my breathing became bad and I experienced burning sensation... read more
They cancelled my appointments x3, returned any and all calls and each time advised that I would not be in for this appointment and that I was no longer seeing Schnitzler. Asked Please cancel this and all future appointments. Assured it would be done. A weekend happened and on Monday rcvd a cnxl call and then an individual calls to tell me how much I will owe for a copay the next day for my canceled x2 appointment. Had to speak with Office Manager that attempted to give an excuse of a system issue for the problem. This excus... read more

This Dr diagnosed me as needing multiple heart surgeries after one blood test. Even after the heart cath showed no blockages and nothing wrong with my heart he said if you want to live a normal life you can’t ever have caffeine again, you need to get professional help to keep your stress level down, and lose weight. He was ready to send me home. Luckily a competent doctor did a cat scan of my lungs and found a clot in my lungs. Even when I told this doctor that the other doctor wanted to check my lungs he said whatever house... read more
He's a great doctor but his staff is rude.
Dr. Schnitzler was the cardiologist that saw me at Methodist when I came down with a severe episode of SVT. I was an out of state visitor from NJ, awfully frighten. The doctor was so thorough I thought he knew me 50 years. He recommended a procedure I should get done when I get back home, which I definitely will do. You won’t go wrong with this doctor. And I promised him I would call him after my procedure, so be expecting a call from me. He was geeat
He has saved my life multiple times. I personally think he is the BEST CARDIOLOGIST in the country.
He was my Mom's doctor and now mine. He works tirelessly to solve problems and bring healing to his patients. I have had him come in to check on me in my hospital room late in the evening after a long day. A no nonsense kind of doctor who really cares about his patients overall health.
Dr Schnitzler is one of the nation’s best yet he makes you feel like you’re one of his only patients. His expertise and ability to explain the complexities of cardiac care and health is invaluable.
Schnitzler Cardiovascular has a 3.7 star rating with 41 reviews.
