Had lunch here today. Delicious! Brought home a piece of coconut cream pie. Was so good! Wish I had bought the whole pie!🥧
I get to the restaurant maybe once a year and really enjoy the German food.

This was our 2nd time there, and we drove a good ways to get there. I had remembered it as being pretty good, and I just had to have the potato pancakes again! I was disappointed tonight, though. They were so overdone, we almost couldn't bite into them. I couldn't cut them, and finally picked one up to eat. Couldn't eat the other one. The 2 inch pork chop was impressive to look at, but it was a little tough and bland. :(
As Authentic German as an Indiana restaurant can get.... from the German biers on draft to the Schnitzel, Spaetzle, and Knackwurst.... large variety on the salad bar and friendly staff!! It is a must next time you are in Jasper....2 bad things.... 1 not open on Sunday and 2 not open past 8..... Enjoy!
