Terrible law firm to deal with. They hire incompetent lawyers like Perry Cheung, who disregards sales contracts and makes obscene requests to sellers despite title insurance being present and confirmed by the insurer, creating delays for everyone. They make it seem like they are acting in the buyer's best interest, but really they are scaring the buyer and send insulting requests to the sellers. It's embarrassing when requests are so egregious to the sellers. Clearly he's a junior lawyer that needs more experience.
Careful if you are buying a preconstruction or closing a home and this firm is repping the seller's side. They will bulldoze the heck outta you and your lawyer and ignore your side's requests and questions if its convenient for them to do so, but once it is beneficial for them...they will harass the world out you and use deadlines, suits and threats to get their ways. Difficult to deal with. He breached contract with us and refused to hand over the keys to our unit, even though he had our funds, and we have title insurance to the unit.
