Today was my grandpa's funeral and given everything going on with COVID-19, it was exceptionally difficult. The staff at the funeral home were nothing short of amazing today and truly helped bring me as much closure as possible. My grandpa looked absolutely amazing, and when I broke down in tears the staff made sure I had everything I needed to get through it. thank you all SO much, from the bottom of my heart.
Aaron and the rest of the staff have been very helpful and compassionate during our time of loss and grieving and have helped make the loss of our loved one a little less stressful
This week mark's 1 year and 6 months since we held our beautiful Samual. Samual was a special boy, born with CDH. he spent a little under 10 weeks in the NICU correcting his hernia, fighting staph infections, blood clots...but he made it out, like a rockstar. On Memorial Day weekend we decided after a few weeks of being home that it was time to make the trip to meet Papa Bear up North in Leinenkugel country. On the way home something was wrong. We heard a cry we didnt hear before. We thought he just needed to strech and get ... read more
I was a wife of grandson today at his grandmother's funeral. I was very impressed by the staff that were in charge of Grandma Mary's funeral today! I've had 6 funerals in the last 10 years, 5 all on my side of the family. Today was the first on my husband's side since we've been together, 10 years. Highly recommend Schneider funeral home! Thank you for making our very hard day a little bit easier!
Neal and his staff were every bit of professional and empathetic that you would hope for from a business handling such sad circumstances. I’m so very impressed with how much they did for our family, as if they lost a loved one, as well. Thank you so much for being everything we didn’t know we needed at our worse time!
I think this situation is very said. All my best friend of 45 years wanted to do is pay Her respects to Her Mom. Kim called and was given a time for Wednesday that She could go and see Her Mom only to be called back by her sister and told that She would not be able to have an early visitation. Kim's friend Dale called the funeral home and was able to get a new time for Thursday at 10 AM. Kim's sister then called again telling her that she could not come early. At this point the sister told the funeral home she would not allo... read more
Business response:
Ken, as I told Kim, I am very sorry for the misunderstanding, but state law says the we have to follow the wishes of the Legal next of kin, and as in her case the husband was legal next of kin, and if anyone wanted a special time for viewing we would have to clear it with the Legal next of kin. Again I am very sorry for your friends loss.
