Dr. Ellen Schneider is an excellent Ophthalmologist she is a very caring person .
Dr. Schneider is an excellent ophthalmologist. Her bed side manner is very professional and she’s very kind and caring. She takes her time explaining conditions and she isn’t an alarmist. She’s been my eye doctor for many, many years and she also performed both of my cataract surgeries. I never had an issue. I had one eye operated on in Slidell and the other in Metairie. Both facilities and staff were excellent. I highly recommend her for anyone young or old!
Dr. Schneider always takes time to carefully explain what is going on and answer any questions. She is not quick to just jump at doing a procedure but would prefer to try less invasive options first. I love that! I’ve been seeing her for years and don’t plan to stop!

She and her staff were very thorough, even though my husband and I were there 3 hours, we were new patients and they were very busy.
