World Class Coney Dog Try this place for a great Coney Island Hot Dog. They also serve Coney Island fries which are different than your normal fries. This is not a sit down place, mostly take out or if you are lucky you can grab a counter spot, if there is room.

Best Deal on the Island – I visited Sanibel last summer and the memory of how much I loved Schmapper's made me decide to write a review after so much time. We actually ate there for lunch one day and liked it so much we went back the next. The hot dogs are fried on the grill and it gives them this great crispy exterior, absolutely fantastic. The hamburgers, which I got the second day, are possibly even better. I'm not sure what they do that's different, but they're delicious. hot dogs deliver – forget the rest of the menu and stick with the hot dogs that are flown in from buffalo, ny. i had the schnapper original, which was loaded with the works - delicious. next time i would order two plain and build my own at the condiment bar. the only issue is that there should be some restaurant seating. currently, there is only a picnic table outside.
