Schmucker's has been a family-owned and operated Toledo dining tradition since 1948. Originally opened by Harvey and Nola Schmucker, the diner is currently run by the third generation of Schmuckers. I stumbled upon this restaurant on my way back from a roadtrip out west. Wow! Great food! Worth the wait for a counter or booth seat! I love counter! The meals are very filling & are so much like my grandma used to make. The pies are fabulous! Definitely take a piece with you if you can't eat it there! You surely won't regret it! :) totally worth a 45 min drive a few times a month for me!
