The server's were pleasant but rarely saw them and were always in a hurry. Took a hour and 10 minutes from the time we ordered for our cod fish fry. They didn't even bring us utensils. Or refill water. I liked the Beerbatter and the fish was okay.
the staff is always so friendly and we love coming here! the new menu is somewhat disappointing. the new chili mac tasted like hamburger helper. bring back the old chili mac that was creamy and full of flavor!
The Cod fish fry had great fish, great coleslaw, good rye bread as usual. But something was wrong with the potato pancakes. They were not at all like the last several times we were there. This time they were deep fried to a hard flat disc. Terrible. They destroyed them. All of us had terrible, hard, deep fried disc's. What happened to the authentic style they had just a few months ago? Bummer.
My wife and I go out for cocktails often. We paid $23 for a Woodford Reserve martini at Schmidtys. We’ve never paid that much anywhere else in Milwaukee, even some of the best steakhouses or cocktail bars don’t charge that much. We were shocked to say the least
