RecommendedWe choose this office after doing 7 other orthodontist consults. My teen has a lot of complex medical stuff going on (including cranio-facial issues) and Drs. Perelmuter and Goldberg took the time to make sure they researched his conditions before making a recommendation. The doctors and staff were very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. This office is a large chain, the Madison location has ripped me off. Trella Dutton (from the Decatur office) committed to 2 projects and took an exam fee from me. I had a Root canal done at this location pre covid and they're refusing to put a cap on it. The procedure I was supposed to get done was for a cavity that's painful and I have now suddenly found myself in need of a new dentist and will have to pay another exam fee to get into another office and get treatment. This office ripped me off. They took an exam fee and then canceled me as a patient in the midst of 2 procedures 1 of which they've already done a root canal for and they have not finished the cap. I have a painful cavity as well. Trella Dutton, the dentist takes her mask off often in conversation which is odd and not in line with recommendations during covid.

This place caused me all sorts of pain, annoyance, and I hope everyone double checks what they do to your mouth. If you like months of pain and a sloppy job then this place is for you. As a first time patient here I went in for a cleaning and they said my old fillings needed work done so we made 2 appointments, 1 for one side and 1 for the other. First appointment started okay but even with numbing shots they extended my TMJ jaw way to much even after I said it was hurting and caused discomfort the rest of the week. They als... read more
Do not go to this dentist. They will perform procedures without telling you and then bill insurance. You will only find out when insurance mails you, to tell you that they do not cover these wild procedures. I went in for a simple cleaning and weeks later I was informed by my insurance company; not the dentist that they had given me a different unnecessary treatment. The woman I spoke to in an attempt to resolve this issue, patty, was rude and dismissive. If I could give 0 stars I would.
