Recommendedwe brought my 6 year old niece who was terrified of dentist even though shes been going since she was small. we were referred here and was the best decision! everyone is so nice and caring! he won her over and got her fixed up no problem!
I had a consultation this afternoon regarding next weeks surgery . He eased my nerves with everything. I think is charming smile and looks helped take my mind off the fact I have a phobia of dentist! haha 😜
They was very quick and they did some dental work on me very good

Best dentist I have ever been too. highly recommended.
Don't know about his other work, but definitely don't use him for wisdom teeth extraction. I know a bunch of people that have gotten dry sockets post op and he has complete apathy. His follow-up phone call the day of surgery is just for show. How about addressing the issues with pain a week to 10 days (14 days for me) post op. To find out you had a dry socket that he denied and ignored. Poor patient care...
I put this on my Facebook post!!!! Isabelle had to get a tooth pulled out today. We took her to an oral surgeon here in Dothan. I have nothing but wonders to say about him! Craig D. Schmidtke. Amazing!! Isabelle felt no pain. He took her step by step through the whole process and was so sweet to her! If you need an oral surgeon, don't go to anyone else!! He even called me tonight to check up on her!! He is a wonderful oral surgeon and I am so glad that Isabelle had him.
I’ve been to Dr. Schmidtke twice and each time it has been a positive experience. The doctor and his staff makes sure you comprehend what is going on and what needs to be done to make sure you heal properly. I feel the doctor goes above and beyond when he personally calls to checkup on his patient! I highly recommend Dr. Schmidtke for your oral needs.
Had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed without anesthesia. It wasn’t bad at all! He’s amazing and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire thing! His staff are all very sweet as well. I HIGHLY recommended this place!
