Because you can't give less than one star. If you love someone, never bring them to any Schlegel Villages LTCs. There is a 25:1 ratio of poorly trained staff to Nurses. The staff is polite and well-meaning, but they simply aren't trained and don't have the education to deal with many of the issues that come with caring for the elderly. Any place that bans a person for speaking out against bad care and service should be shut down. Since that can't happen I urge every business who cares to ban every employee that works there from their businesses under the trespass property act. It's only fair.
Worked at one of the homes and management fired a good staff member due to tolerance of abuse from family. Not recommended at all to work here.
