At this brew-pub, they bottle great beer and serve scrumptious all-American gourmet food for all to enjoy. Brewery/Restaurant/Bar/Outside Patio I really enjoyed this restaurant, with its very interesting menu selections. We went there right before a St. Louis Cardinal's game. We both had the BLT's- Fantastic!!!!! Peppered bacon, organic produce, just amazing. Desserts were gourmet, and to die for!!!! I highly recommend this place!
Good for Maplewood I have mixed feelings. The dining room feels like a cafeteria. No character whatsoever. The outdoor patio feels too much like a slab with a tent thrown up. And my guy friends don't like that they don't have as many beers here as the Tap Room. But the food is decent and I love that they have so many positive events for the community. It's great for Maplewood. Give it a try.
Schlafly Bottleworks is a great bunch of professionals of all kinds. I had 2 meals there and they were great. I felt I was eating a meal that wouldn't clog my heart. And a smokefree place ,not a smokearaunt.The garden was fabulous.
You'll never get a bad meal here! This hometown brewpub never delivers a bad meal or a bad beer, either! This wonderful restaurant has delicious, sophisticated food in a relaxed atmosphere. It's a little noisy sometimes, but the service is outstanding and the food is perfect. All the indoor dining is non-smoking. There's a heated outdoor dining area for smokers.
Great Brewery! Schlafly Bottleworks is actually a working brewery. They bottle a variety of different beers here, and they have a bar, restaurant and store on site. It's really interesting to take the tour, and the free beer tasting afterward is even better. We also a enoyed a really good lunch in the restaurant.
This is a cool place If you are looking for something neat to with your friends this is the place. It is in the heart of Maplewood and they have wonderful food and drinks. Prices are higher but for a change it is a great place to go!
Good food not great service I have been to the Bottleworks on a few occasions, including my birthday. It is brewhouse that offers several different beers and a decent selection for lucnh or dinner. The food is not the same and one downtown, so don't go in expecting it to be the same (I made that mistake.). The biggest drawback is the service. On at least two occasions our food has not arrived as we ordered it, and in the instance of mybirthday one late person never even recieved his food.
RecommendedOur salad and pizza were excellent. Our server provided great service.
All great but the Sticky Toffee Pudding is awesome.
