We have used schindle elevator, costa mesa, california for a long time. Last few years, I was extremely unhappy with their service. Even if you call during regular hours, technician come after hours so I have to authorize overtime or I have to wait till next business day. Even if I authorize overtime, they sometimes don't have technician. They even don't carry small parts like elevator push button ( to call a cab ) or elevator light. We used to be with 5 Star and they sold to Schindler, so far we are beyond disappointed and even distressed at the COMPLETE LACK OF APATHY they have shown for our residents. Our elevator broke down on Sunday November 17th, given that we have a contract with them we decided to wait until the next morning would be best to be mindful of how we use our HOA resources rather than incurring an emergency visit rate where there was no guarantee anyone would come quickly anyway.
