If only all doctors were like Karin Schiffman. She is amazingly responsive, great with kids, and allows ample time to answer all questions and understand our child's health and development in a holistic way. I know that if our child has a scary fever spike in the middle of the night I can page Karin and she will respond within minutes - just the security of knowing I can do that creates peace of mind. We select our insurance plan to ensure our child can continue to see her - she's that good.
Dr. Karin is awesome. She is a solo practitioner and has devoted her life to her patients. She is always available by pager. She has a great manner with children and can relate to them in all of their developmental stages. She was particularly helpful when our child was a newborn and we dealt with the serial childhood viruses that come with childcare settings. Our daughter likes Dr. Karin very much...but not at all when she gives her shots.
Karin Schiffman is the best medical professional I've ever visited, and we a forever grateful to her wisdom, experience and warmth, particularly in the fuzzy days of new parenthood. She spends ample time with patients and parents, and her practice is designed so sicks kids don't cross paths with well kids. You will not find a better pediatrician for your child.
