I have been a patient for almost 25 years. I have several points of comparison and have read all of these published reviews. A doctor is not wholly responsible for what insurances a practice accepts. They are not responsible for scheduling. I have found Dr Scheufler as accommodating as possible and have seen him defend patients rights and expectations directly with underperformance.As for him being direct, check that box. My primary physician went to another location so I started seeing Dr. Scheufler as to not go farther location wise. As soon as he walked in to our appointment he was completely rude and unprofessional. He interrogated me on my diagnosis that I've had since childhood and left me feeling stigmatized and attacked. His questioning showed he knew little about my condition or that he even looked through my well documented medical history before grilling me on the spot. Will be going elsewhere.

Dr. Steve has been my primary physician for many years now. I want to share with you one of my experiences. In 2018 I had an issue in what appeared to be an hernia. I was referred to a surgeon, after being evaluated by the surgeon, the surgeon said it wasn't a hernia. I've been a patient of Dr. Steven Scheufler for a while now, and I've seen him for various issues. I like the fact that he is a "no bull" kind of guy, and he tells it like it is. Some people might not like that, but I like the "up front" attitude about him. I would recommend him to anybody.

Terrible! Rushed in and out without reviewing my medical history. Went in for back pain and he didn’t even know I had scoliosis! Sent me home with neck stretches! Unbelievable! Have been in pain for 3 weeks and his office never returns my call. Please avoid him at all costs.

Dr. Scheufler is an outstanding doctor. I have several hard to manage maladies and he has done so with excellence, knowledge, and a great bedside manner.

I have known Steven for over twenty years and he is a great doctor and a very good friend. He has always been there for me and my family.

Be prepared to be lectured and to listen instead of to be listened to. I definitely felt he was a competent doctor and trusted what he talked to me about medically but he lectured me about personal matters that frankly weren't his business. The phone staff is very rude. After being established as a patient, I have been unable to ever get an appointment with the actual doctor, always have the nurse practitioner's pushed on me, and am rudely told to go to the emergency room for non-emergencies.

This was not a good experience. I gave this office about a year and it is not for me nor would I recommend it to anyone else. The worst part of this office is that the staff is completely rude and unprofessional. They are uncaring and quite frankly mean. There doesn't seem to be any communication between office staff and the doctor. The doctor spends no time with you and does not listen.
