The doctor was obviously knowledgeable, did not seem very interested, did recommend some medication changes. Two months later, his office had still not managed to get one of the medications approved by blue cross, despite repeated requests from myself and the pharmacy. We finally asked our internist to try; the medication was approved the same day. Not sure what is going on in dr schecter’ s office, but not user friendly. Too much delay, frustration, and no clue what was going on.
Everything was good but the wait times was a bit longer than expected. The doctor seemed friendly and helpful. The staff seemed also helpful.
Dr. Schechter has diagnosed and been treating my husband with Parkinsons for about 2 years. We are so blessed and grateful to have found him. He is so knowledgeable as well as kind, and compassionate. He will spend as much time as you need during appointments as well as answer any and all questions you have concerning your neurological condition. You won't have to wait months to be seen like some other facilities. His office staff is the best. Highly recommend Dr. Schechter.
Just excellent. I have seen other Neurologists and he is certainly at the very top. Very Patient and willing to listen to questions. Very thorough. Took his time explaining things.

Dr Schechter is an outstanding neurologist. He has been my doctor for many years and when my granddaughter needed a specialist, I recommended him. You will not find a more caring physician.
Attentive. Listens to questions (even when asking the same one! ). Will call back when at non-opportune times for him; which shows he cares.
