I was a first-time patient. I was able to get an appointment in a surprisingly short time. The wait in the office was very brief. The staff were very helpful in getting the new-patient paperwork taken care of. Dr Schechter took the time to explain my issue, what would be done to treat it, and the possible follow-up. What more can you ask?
He has been my dermatologist since moving to the area last year. He is honest really smart and one of the best docs ever! Amazing credentials too!

I have had a rash for 2 months and saw 2 Dermatologists who gave me oral and topical medications which did not work. They said I had an infection. Went to Dr. Schechter who took one look and told me not to worry, it was not contagious and prescribed a medication to put on my skin. I could not believe one week later the rash was gone! He is amazing.
Dr Schechter has an excellent bedside manner. He is very friendly and compassionate and was very easy to talk to. After a thorough exam, he patiently answered all of my questions. He has amazing incredentials. I would highly recommend him.
Dr Schechter is a kind caring extremely bright physician. I was examined by him for the first time after moving to the area form New York. He biopsied something on my back and it was a skin cancer. I was very concerned but he calmed me down after a long discussion. He treated it when I came back and he was very gentle. I highly recommend him!
I am a patient of Dr. Schechter. I live in Florida for half of the year and get my skin issues treated only with Dr Schechter when I am in New Jersey. He is the only dermatologist I trust. He is honest, caring and really knowledgeable.
Dr Schechter has been our Dermatologist for over ten years. Recently, my husband and I retired and moved to the Poconos. My husband has multiple skin issues and has had several skin cancers. Today we traveled back to New Jersey to Dr Schechter for our regular skin exam. We travel because we have total faith in him as a physician and person. He is one of a kind!
