Very helpful with answering my questions and getting me started. The young lady who took my info was so sweet and helpful.
This is a teaching facility & you usually get a NP not a doctor plus they are short staffed. And on top of everything else you don't get to stay with the same NP so they can get to know you & your body not some notes the other N P's wrote. I must say,they are very respectful & cordial there I love the staff & NP''s. Dignity Health needs to get their act together & help make things much easier for the medical professions who are here. This is why I give a 3 star review.
I have been taking my kids to shasta community for years, hadn't had a problem... My daughter was in a car accident a year ago and suffered a brain bleed, there have been numerous drs who have seen her with no problem and we're very accommodating until today.. My daughter got put in on a last minute appointment to try and get her medication authorization and refill before school... Went ti urgent care with a wrist injury and was impressed by the female Dr that treated me. Very caring and receptive to awnser all my questions. I rarely get medical care but would rate this visit a 10/10. Wait time was almost two hours but the bedside manner of the professionals in the room made up for it.
I got the best care really did thank you shasta community health center... everybody was great i even signed my paper work on the wrong lines the was on it love it glad this is now my care facility
