On the morning of December 7, 2017 I brought my Buick to Schaumann Electric to solve a re-occuring problem in which my car would fail to start due to an open circuit condition occuring between the ignition switch and the logic system in the Body Command Module. I was prepared to have to replace the Body Command Module for several hundred dollars and Mark Burgermeister indicated there was no need to do that, and quoted me a very reasonable charge for repair of, not replacement, of the ignition switch. I took my 2005 Ford explorer there, because the battery was dying.. They had it for a week and I paid over $1,000. They replaced my dashboard cluster (which I pretty sure I did not need) and stated they rewired my entire car. Well I still have the same problem with my battery dyeing. In short I paid them over $1,000 to fix the problem, they made an unnecessary repair and I'll still stuck on square one.

Been a loyal customer since i had a new car in 1977. My linkage was stuck in 2nd gear,I stopped in the first place I saw.Schaumann's and the mechanic crawked under my car on the spot came out went inside came out crawled under my car again said "there its fixed." I said "how much?" he said "no charge." ever since I've been a customer. I never feel like I've been ripped off by repairs or prices. I keep going here, not because they are good (they are) and not because they are reasonably priced (pretty much so) but because I trust them. Mark doesn't try to sell me more than what I need, and gives reliable opinions without engaging in scare tactics and upselling.
