I dealt with Mrs. Shaugnessey; her behavior was unethical and despicable. It's beyond me how she can still be licensed. She will ruin families at any expense. She will lie if you are the parent she does not stand for and has no issues committing perjury on the stand against the parent she does not favor. Unprofessional, does not meet deadlines, lost my case when dealt a royal straight flush including GAL recommendations on our side, does not listen to or respect client, omitted many pieces of evidence and testimony at trial, the list goes on, avoid at all costs.

Funny story. So a highly paid lawyer ( Michael Schatz) walks into a courtroom were he is the GLA in a highly tense custody case. Where he has been paid very well ($12,000) for very minimal work and one that he has been working on for months. The judge asks Mr. Schatz “ Well, Mr. Schatz what is your opinion in this case?” Schatz replies “ that question is above my pay grade your honor”. If I could leave a zero-star review, I would do it in a heartbeat. When I was 13, I visited Mr. Schatz four times. Each time, I explained my issues to him, but he did nothing and always sided with the person who had more money. It's clear that all he cares about is his paycheck. He's an absolute nightmare of a human being. Do not go to Mr. Schatz under any circumstances.
