Dr Scharfstein is an excellent surgeon he has 4 different surgery's for me with no complicatins.When I was diagnosed with aggressive cancer I was glad he was my surgeon.Woukd recommend him highly.
Highly personable and very thorough surgeon. He was very kind and took all the time I need to reassure me and my family before, during, and after my surgery.
Would not recommend letting this Doctor to cut on you. I had a abscess on my left breast. He pretended to numb the area. When he cut into my breast I screamed. He pretended again to inject numbing medication. He cut again and I screamed . He was more worried about going to surgery than my well being. I ask him if a antibiotic was needed. He said you will be okay. A week later had to call his office 9am. He finally called in a antibiotic that I am allergic to. This doctor has no compassion or empathy to his patients.
