Established in 1937 when Yorkville was still a thriving German community, this place has maintained the loyalty to its former patrons. Never mind that many must now order their bratwursts, bockwursts, blutwursts, Bavarian loaves and Black Forest hams by mail. Part of the reason for this loyalty is the consistent high quality of its sausages, hams and other products, some of which have won gold medals in Germany, Austria and Holland through the years.

I was having a celebration for french bastile day I have done a celebration every year for over 10 years. I ordered their PATE *chicken*It was the worst PATE I ever had and would not recomment or purchase again. It was the only item that was left on everybodys plate! My guests didn't like it at all!!! The shipping cost was exorbinate too!!!!
