Schalla Jewelers of West Bend is a great family owned jewelry store. Doug Schalla, the owner, always has a smile on his face and is very professional. My daughter and her fiance just ordered their wedding bands from Doug. He is eager to please and is fairly priced. No, not the "cheapest" but his stock is wonderful, plentiful, with a great quality, and anything can be ordered for his customers. I had Doug do some custom work by replacing one of the stones in my wedding ring with my daughters birth stone and placing that diamond in a special ring to be given to my daughter on her wedding ring. While he very positive about taking on the project and delivered both rings in time for the wedding ceremony, I was distressed when, just a week after delivery another of my diamonds fell out of my wedding ring. i came in with my fiance to look at engagement rings. the jeweler didnt listen to a word i said and showed me the complete oppisite of what i asked to see. i was VERY specific about what kind of rings i was interested in, and the jeweler only seemed interested in showing me what would make him the most money
I had been looking around at a lot of Jewlery stores for a mens bracelet for my boyfriend. So many jewlers were either really obnoxious and pushy, or just rude and unhelpful. I have been into Schalla two times and everyone is so helpful. If they dont know the answer you need, the find it for you. If they say they will look into something for you and call you back, they do. They are the most friendly,informative, and helpful jewlers I have ever been to.
I had a ring designed by the owner, Doug Schalla, and it was exactly what I wanted and it is beautiful. I have bought numerous other pieces there and have been equally pleased with them.
