Been going to this place on and off for 35+ years. Been all over the country, best ice cream...period. Great foot longs, fried mushrooms, hamburgers, soup. Don't expect fast food service or a dining room....be patient and enjoy the experience if the line is out the door! This is a true small town gem with good people and charm.
Schaffners is horse and people approved! Rode into town today on horseback with a friend and got the ponies some ice cream and they loved it!!!!!
Very slow. One person Take a yout order then goes fixes it leaving the next person in line waiting. Took over 30 minutes to order & get our food. Was not worth what we paid. Kid for our order all messed up. Gave the kids cheeseburger meal a regularsize meal....made one of the regular meals into a kids meal. Not impressed.
