RecommendedI received both top soil and sand. The sand was excellent, and helped me keep water out of my basement by raising my batio 4 inches. Great leveling too!
Digging out the “compost” that I bought last year to replace it with stuff from Hammond Farms. This is at best fill dirt. 🤯
Can’t beat the customer service
Schafer's works well if you pick up the product from their locations, but delivery has been a real deal breaker. I have had over 6 truckloads of product delivered to my home over the last two years. The first time I was not home and they did not dump the product where I instructed even though I spray painted a giant neon orange X in the grass. They refunded me the delivery on that one. The next load was supposed to be 100% compost, but it was full of clay chunks and 2 ft tall weeds which indicated to me that the pile had bee... read more
highly recommend.. I have always received excellent customer service and great products.. There prices are very fair and nobody beats their delivery charge.. very good humble owners.. They truly bend over backwards to make sure their customers are happy..
