Had the unfortunate experience of meeting Dr. Schafer when he saw my mom over a holiday weekend.He was rude.Bedside manner was lacking & nonexistent.I felt he spoke down to me & any questions I had were quickly shot down. After he delivered the devastating diagnosis,his attitude was cold.Yelling at times.Not sure if this was due to him being on call on a holiday & not wanting to work.He mentioned he was missing a family outting. Very unprofessional "physician." Won't recommend .
Dr Schafer is a fantastic cardiologist. He has a great professional yet friendly attitude. He also has a great sense of humor which I love because it takes the edge off from a scary situation. I would recommend him to family and friends both. I cannot imagine putting my life into the hands of anyone else.
