In giving an honest review, while our experience with Schaefer began well as we were happy to find the color of siding that we wanted, it did not end on a happy note to say the least. The sub-contractors they used did things very sloppily the last day as they rushed to finish the job. There was caulking put sloppily between the siding and brick (a not so smart idea to begin with on such an uneven surface) right in plain sight at our front door entrance. What an eyesore. Installed wrong soffit vinyl over my wooden soffits, now attic breathes poorly and blew me off when I asked for help venting my attic , said they don’t like handling the small jobs and they would have to find time to “squeeze” me in on a job in my opinion was done wrong to begin with! Totally disappointed, would give zero stars if I could! I am not a professional so it took me a while to figure why my attic is so hot and attic fan runs six hours continuously before shutting off, thanks for nothing Schaefer!
Schaefer Exteriors recently replaced and upgraded the siding and gutters on our home. In addition to our high expectations our project included a number of design challenges requiring much thoughtful planning. Mr. Schaefer met with us to make sure all of our questions and concerns were answered prior to starting the job.
