He is a great doctor. He is very busy an. Dues have a dry humor.. But I can do get him to crack up laughing. Treated my very good.. Took care of my health issue tendoninitis.
Extremely rude and belittling. He was late for surgery and for the post-op appointment I sat in the exam room for over an hour waiting. When he finally arrived he was short, irritated by my presence, and annoyed by the fact I wasn’t at the physical level of strength he wanted me to be at. Doctor Schaefer just recently performed a total right knee replacement on me. My old knee was very arthritic and I was bold-legged. My new knee is pain free and straight! I am very happy with Doctor Schaefer's skills. I realize I have many weeks of physical therapy to get me back to my normal active life. I have had several successful surgeries on different joints performed by Doctor Schaefer and look forward to using my new knee.
My wife and I always went to my appointments together and he treated both of us professionally, answering our questions about my upcoming Total Knee Replacement. His staff is fantastic! They take care of everything that comes up in a timely, caring and friendly manner. He has a very dry sense of humor. He had me get all teeth work done ahead of surgery, has an Internist, Dr. Catapano, see you before surgery and take care of you in the hospital, all to help prevent infection. Knee is great!
the only good part about my visit was some of the office staff the doctor kept me waiting over 3 hours past my schedule time before he finally came in to see me. He was one of the most cold and rude doctors I've ever paid to help take care of me. He does not care. He sat there in the room with me and probably look at me three or four times the entire time he was there. I left there with no answers and feeling like a low life because he belittled me about taking pain medications for my pain.
My experience with this doctor was horrible. He does not respect the patients he works with and becomes very vindictive difficult if he is questioned in any manner.
Great care and excellent job done on my left shoulder. Back to work. Thank you!
He is the BEST! 2 surgeries so far (shoulder and elbow) both experiences I felt that I couldn't have been in better hands. His office staff are great as well!
